Gheneva is a law clerk at Bondy Immigration Law. She obtained her Honours Bachelor of Arts degree with high distinction in Political Science at the University of Toronto. Having first-hand experience with migration, she is strongly committed to easing the transition of migrants with the help of the legal system. She wrote about migration issues, such as migrant smuggling, feminization of migration, and voting behaviours of immigrants during her tenure at the University of Toronto. Consequently, she was awarded the David Lewis Memorial Scholarship in Canadian Politics (2020 – 2021 & 2021 – 2022) for gaining the highest grade in Canadian Politics courses.
In her spare time, she participated in and won the regional debate open of the National Federation of Junior Philippine Accountants. Previously, she worked as a bookkeeper and administrative assistant after obtaining her diploma for Accountancy, Business and Management academic track at the University of Santo Tomas, Philippines.
Gheneva is fluent in Filipino (Tagalog) and English.
