Aisling Bondy is the founder of Bondy Immigration Law. She has practiced in the field of immigration and refugee law since her call to the bar in 2007, and has built a diverse practice encompassing multiple areas of Canadian immigration law, involving both humanitarian and economic immigration.

Aisling leads a team of qualified and experienced lawyers and support staff who provide a wide variety of immigration legal services to our diverse clientele. Her broad knowledge of immigration law and procedures allows her to work with clients and staff to develop and implement individualized strategies to accomplish the goals of the firm’s clients. This includes helping clients obtain or maintain permanent resident status, reunite with family in Canada, or help Canadian companies attract global talent.

Aisling is the current President of the Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers (CARL), a national organization comprised of several hundred lawyers who practice in refugee law. She has been a speaker at numerous professional and community-based events. She has also taught Immigration and Refugee Law Procedures at Humber College. She received her LL.B. from the University of Ottawa, and completed her last semester of law school at the Universidad de Chile in Santiago, Chile. Prior to attending law school she obtained a B.A. from McGill University in Political Science and International Development, and completed a semester at the Universidad de las Américas in Puebla, Mexico.

Aisling is a member of the Refugee Lawyers’ Association, the Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers, the Canadian Immigration Lawyers Association, the Ontario Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association. She is fluent in French and Spanish.
